The Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday, we went to a pumkin patch close to our house. It reminded us of Harmon's Tree farm in Gilbert back home. It was really cool but very crowded. We had a really good time.

We visit The Arch!

Our cousin Emily came to visit last weekend from South Carolina. It was sooooo great to see her! She was here for 4 days, but it just wasn't long enough. We took her to the arch. It is really cool to see it up close. We went up in it too. They put you in these little containers that are like large clothes dryers. It's a 4 minute ride to the top. Both Emily and my dad turned pale on the way up. It was way cool. After that, dad suggested we go to the Budweiser plant. We got there a little too late for the tour, but we at least got to see the Clydesdales and Dad got to do the tasting. It was a great day and it was so awesome to see our cousin Emily!

Winner!!!!!!!

Hey you guys!!! Its Alia! :-)
Recently, I entered the student council running for my school! You had to go through many processes to get into the running! You had to fill out a sheet and turn it in with lots on information about yourself. Then you have to be selected. I was up against nine people. The campaigning started late in September. Bunches of people were handing buttons, stickers and flyers out just as I!! After a week of "campaigning" we had to give our speeches. It was nerve racking but it turned out to be a great sucess and everyone liked mine!!
On October 1st we found out who the winners were-
MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
I was estacic!
Only two people can win on each team. Each grade is divided into 4 teams because the grades are so big! The other girl that won on my team is good friends with me and rides my bus as well as lives in my neighborhood!
I cant wait to be in student council and make a difference in my new school!

Cardnials!

Hi you guys! Its Alia!!!

As you know, we have been mighty busy getting settled in up here in St. Louis, Missouri! We have been doing lots of fun things here. On September 28th, us as a family went to go see the Missouri base ball team's- The Cardnials - last game! This was actually Joelle's and My first ever baseball game! we loved every minute of it! All the junk food, candy, junkfood!
I actually understood the rules and we all really got into the game! The Cardnials are actually a very good baseball team!!! They won 12 to 4!

St. Louis

We got into St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon. The Arch can be seen for miles before you enter Missouri. It's pretty cool.

Overnight in Nashville

Well, on our first day of travel, we got as far as Nashville - it took about 7 hours. On our way out of town Wednesday morning, Dad saw this fine establishment and said we had to get a picture in front of it!

Heading Out!

We left our home in Lexington at 3 pm on Tuesday. It was a very sad day. There were lots of tears. At least the weather was great for traveling.

Empty . . .

Our home in Lexington has been emptied. The movers came on Monday the 18th and loaded everything on a big truck.

The End

Hey!

It's me. Alia!

I was recently in a play called Aladdin the musical! It was at the Village Square Theatre in Lexington S.C.

I made so many great friends and they were so fun to work with! Being in a play, you sorta create a mini family with the people around you and with the directors!

But Sunday was closing night and we had to say good bye to our family and it was sad! We were all teary and we were all getting email addresses and phone numbers so we could still chat.

I have to say- hats off to miss Debra- our director and to miss Amy Finnegan for making this play one of the most fun and memorable times for all of us- the cast! the play turned out terrific of course it is all because of you guys! Thanks for everything! You guys mean so much to me and all of the cast! Email some time! You rock miss Debra and miss Amy

and all of my cast members

I love you --- email me soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Alia

Lutheridge Day Camp

Hey guys!

This past week or two has been really busy and so i haven't been able to post a blog in a while! I'm SO sorry! Me and my sis have been going to this day camp this week and it has been TONS of fun!

We do crafts and games and our Bible story and then we go to lunch and then we all go with our counselors to an activity. Yesterday we went bowling. Today we went swimming but unfortunately i didn't get any pictures! :-( but I did get some awesome pictures of us bowling that i would like to share with you! I have reunited with great friends from camp from past years like my friend Morgan. I also made a new friend named Shelby that is the age of five year old and is cute as a button.

Enjoy!

Love you guys!
